The Core Idea — In One Paragraph
There is one reality: the Holodynamic Field. The Physical Mode is the Field expressed as structure — measurable, spatial, temporal, causal. The Narrative Mode is the Field expressed as interiority — phenomenal substrate, qualia, the raw "what-it's-like-ness" of experience. These are not two separate realities. They are the same Field, known in two registers.
When you see a red apple, the neural firing in your brain and the quale of redness are the same reality — known from the outside (as structure) and from the inside (as experience). This is dual-aspect monism. It is not dualism. It is not materialism. It is the recognition that the one Field has both an outside and an inside.

And you — as a Self-Aware Pattern (SAP) — are the Field, at your locus, accessing both aspects. Every pattern in the Field registers itself from within. This is interiority. Self-awareness is not a binary — it is a spectrum. From the fleeting quale of a photon to the recursive self-awareness of a human, all patterns are self-aware to some degree. The difference is not presence or absence, but degree of elaboration.

The Three Registers of Self-Awareness
The Field's computation produces self-awareness at three registers:

The Origin of Life	How did the DNA/RNA/protein system originate?	Threshold expression. The coherent pattern expressed whole when supporting conditions reached sufficient coherence.
The Fine-Tuning of the Universe	Why are the fundamental constants so exquisitely coordinated?	They are stable attractors in the Field's possibility space. Coherent configurations have higher probability weight.
Death	What happens when we die?	Mode-shift, not annihilation. The pattern persists. The "I" continues as articulate self, diffuse presence, or re-instantiated Core.
